Mel Fe

Men's Ministry - Chino

I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior in 2015, it marked the beginning of a profound transformation in my life. This decision opened up a path of spiritual growth and renewal, guiding me to live with a sense of purpose and peace that I had never experienced before. As I continued to deepen my relationship with God, I felt a calling to serve others and to share the joy and fulfillment that comes from a life rooted in faith. This led me to become actively involved in the Men’s Ministry, where I found a community of like-minded individuals who uplift and support one another on our spiritual journeys. Accepting Christ has not only enriched my personal life but has also strengthened my relationships with family and friends. It has taught me the power of forgiveness and the importance of loving others unconditionally. I am grateful for the opportunities to grow and serve, and I am committed to living a life that honors my faith and inspires others to explore their own spiritual paths. One of my favorite Bible passage is found in Psalm 37:4-5. On my free time, I enjoy cycling, photography, and  golfing.

Herdie Reyes

Building Ministry - Chino

A retired auto technician, Herdie Reyes has been a part of the Harvest Community Bible Church family for more than a decade. Attending church progressed into getting more involved, which led him to start serving as a Deacon on December 21, 2014. Being a member for so long, his favorite thing about HCBC is that it’s a disciple-making church. He loves that one of HCBC’s mission is to equip its members for discipleship. Herdie was having dinner with his two sisters many years ago, where they invited a guest to join them. It was in that moment he came to know Jesus Christ from the life testimony Pastor Wally Magdangal shared. Herdie loves to go fishing and shoot air rifles. He loves the verse Joshua 24:15. He resides with his wife of 25 years and two children.

Virgil Advincula

Worship Ministry - Chino

Virgil Advincula has been a Deacon for several years now. He loves how Harvest Community Bible Church is a family- oriented church, that whichever ministry you are part of or however long you have been attending, you can feel the family dynamics. Virgil first came to the saving knowledge of the Lord during the Calvary Chapel-sponsored rally called “Jesus 89” at Dodger Stadium. While he serves at church, he is also the residential appraisal for the County of Riverside. His favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 40:31. Married with two kids, he also loves music and fishing.

Marla Afuang

Secretary - Chino

Marla Afuang was raised in a Christian home all her life. She took that step forward and got baptized, accepting Jesus Christ in her heart at the age of 10. When her family began attending New Life Full Gospel Church in Santa Monica, she got fully immersed in serving God by attending summer youth camps and singing on the Praise and Worship Team. Then Marla went to Hope International University in Fullerton, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies. It wasn’t until she started attending Harvest Community Bible Church in late 2014 that God revealed to her what it meant to really walk with Christ as her Lord and Savior. From then on, she turned from a life of compromise to a life committed to Jesus. At HCBC, Marla has been loved on, prayed for, and discipled. She loves being part of the HCBC family. She is humbled to serve Jesus and His church and to work as the church secretary. She finds absolute joy in watching those around her love and glorify God. Jeremiah 29:13 and the whole passage of Psalms 150 are among her favorite Bible verses. Other than serving God, she also really loves to read and plan events.
